Love your blog girl. If blogging is the only way we can hold on to a piece of Jamaica.....then so be it! Will keep checking yours regularly because mine's just not enough LOL.

Am Jacan living in Paris and doing some research for a thesis. I desperately need to get in touch with 5 Jacan primary school teachers with at least 5 years of teaching experience to have a chat on MSN about the use of Creole in their classes. Do you know anyone who fits the bill?
I'd be very grateful for a link up. Thanks in advance

I really like this page - it does make me kinda homesick though :) - I'm adding it to my website's blogroll.

The TB article was older than I thought. I just left there. I stayed 8 days for christmas. I didn't see any of the torture you were told about. My son has been there almost two years. He has never seen OP.He also thanks me for saving his life from drug abuse and prison. There are Jamaican boys there from the Turks islands. they are just like the US boys, coming from prisons for gang activity, etc. This is serious business. There may be some kids there for trival reasons, but most are there for serious things. My son claimed to be a foster child that couldn't read or write. That is so far from the truth. the staff is very kind to my son and myself. I would love to show you a picture of him with the family Mother than we will call family forever. If you are interested please tell me. I think some boys were exaggerating alittle.
