Just playing around with GIMP and trying to come up with some interesting graphics. The results are here, whether they're any good or not I leave to your judgement!

I have been using GIMP for nearly a year. It took me a while to figure how to download it and make it work using the X11 Window System. On my platform (Mac OSX) it has it's quirks, but it's free and it gets the job done.
I still haven't figured out how or why the creators offer it for free.

Congratulations: this blog of yours is another stream of consciousness which me (info visualization blog) and you have in common. Are we the birds of same feathers.....
People need more of such visualization (graphics and non-traditional dynamics) to imagine the true colors of whatever we are not used to see, think, feel and much more.
Inicdentally, I am coming from a blog, just before this click, which is "Worth a thousand words." What a great sync.
