Short reviews for these films below.Spread (USA, 2009)Misleading trailer made me think it's just another "pretty boy is fooling around until he meets a girl, the one and the only, and decides to settle down" romantic comedy, always so typical for Hol...

I've already mentioned before that Steven Seagal is doing a reality TV series about the cops, and I am glad to see this is still going as planned. Steven Seagal: Lawman is going live in a few weeks and here is another chance to see the sample of what...

First awesome teaser for the Clash of the Titans. Looking good, love the giant scorpions. And it's not even a summer movie! Release on March 26th? So far it looks like spring has better films than summer. You can also watch the teaser, in all kinds o...

Hi!

My name is Julia and I work with Rooftop Films (www.rooftopfilms.com), a summer film series dedicated to showcasing new, independent films and emerging bands in unique outdoor locations. I thought you might be interested in one of our upcoming programs. This Saturday, June 6th, at 8pm we will be holding a screening of Stingray Sam in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Stringray Sam tells a story of the future, based on themes of modern society, with an old-fashioned sensibility borrowing on the traditions of sci-fi, westerns, singing cowboy serials and musicals of
classic American film. I hope you can include it in Cinema Beacon Blog this week!
