James KochenburgerCooper....masterful work here. Heart-wrenching. Thank you very much for the passion you have to make a difference. It is contagious. And to form, the blog is extrmely well done. Keep it up...this is one blog that has a clear reason to exist (though beyond tragic what you are covering). Let's hope one day it won't have to exist :)
MandinoDoes anyone know why genocide happens? Does it rise from hatred? Well, for me genocide happens when there is a conflict and the conflict is consisted of beliefs. These beliefs are also being justified by the people who are anchored to their beliefs.

The Emma Academy Project
This project will be building a school there in Sudan. To be built in Leer, Sudan, the school will be fostering the children and at the same time nurturing the minds of the young children there. This school will be for the children of Sudan, keeping them away from the effects of war. This school is in honor of Emma McCune, the angel who saved the WarChild. To help build a school, we would need to support this cause.
KathyThe very word Dufar brings tears to my eyes. And like all those people who watched Kitty Genovese murdered, I think SOME ONE ELSE who is...smarter, kinder, richer, famouser, smarter..did I mention smarter?
I have barely enough money to feed myself, what can I do?
WarrenYour blog is good work. What indescribable sufferings are endured in Dafur. To our eternal collective shame, as we scramble to satisfy our insatiable lust for materialistic gains, the people of Dafur writhe in an unending and agonising maelstrom of unspeakable horror, poverty and deprivation.
richrfWhat can I say. The human species, and its wants, needs, and horrific drama - playing out before your eyes. People killing each other - and for what. I don't know. Maybe there is a way to look at things and understand it better? Maybe there is some rhyme and reason to this madness.
Sojourner's PlaceThe 27th of each month is dedicated to providing information on the genocide in Darfur . Please read my post entitled “am i not human? wanted ahmad haran & ali kushayb for crimes against humanity” http://sojournersplace.blogspot.com/2008/05/am-i-not-human-wanted-ahmad-haran-ali.html Sj
Robin EastonI am really proud of you for bringing these issues to light. To dedicating time in your life to such a worthy cause. Those of us who are not suffering must not only bew thankful every day but must help those who are in any way we can...no matter how seemingly small. Thank you for reminding us all of that fact. Good for you and those you help.
Jeunelle FosterNow this is what I call a Blog
