Death Sweeping

Death Sweeping

http://deathsweeper.blogspot.com/

This is the ongoing story of the life of "the local undertaker" and how I got where I am today. Being a Funeral Director has led me down a path in life that I can't fully describe but I can try to explain. There have been times of fear, caring, laughter, hope, dread, hopelessness, insecurity, tiredness, fulfillment and love. All of these feelings intertwined are what I am and what I plan to detail.

I have to admit that this blog has surprised me again and again. I find myself checking in quite regularly. The author never ceases to make me think, to show things in a light that I would not have expected. I agree with Noelle when she says, "I believe this blog has more to offer about life than most I've read." It is multidimensional, inspiring, thought provoking and a welcomed addition to my blogroll.

I love reading this blog. It is such an eclectic mix of surprises - sometimes sad, sometimes humorous, sometimes poetic. One thing it is guaranteed to do is make you go away thinking. Death Sweep has pulled me up in my tracks on more than one occasion and made me think about things in a totally different way. I guarantee that you will check in here on a regular basis once you find it.

Warmth, insight, and compassion from a place where it is greatly needed. Set your stereotypes aside and read with both eyes wide open.

An inspiring and interesting outlook from a funeral director with great integrity. This isn't just about death. In fact I believe this blog has more to offer about life than most I've read.

in this pleasingly provocative blog,, the author, a funeral director, brings both life and death full circle for us every day... it is thoughtfully put together, not in any way morbid or morose,, definately an every day read....
