Two weeks ago I was given a surprise medical diagnosis. Colon cancer. I have no symptoms. In fact, I feel great. I don’t smoke; I eat a low fat/low salt diet with no beef; I get plenty of exercise; my weight is average; my age is relatively young ...

  • 10 gay signs I missed growing up

Posted on Tuesday October 6th, 2009 at 20:13 in family, writings, gay life

I’ve written before that I came out late in life. Reflecting back, however, there were signs of my gayness that I did not recognize back when I was in elementary and high school. I knew I was different but I choose to ignore it and repress it.* I c...

Loved your site. Great to get your theater reviews. I hope you enjoy the Opere and ballet in San Francisco. Would love to hear about the theater scene there as well. I'll return often to see what adventures you are up to next. Yes! Children are a great adventure.
