I saw Jan's comments about a totally different item while I was looking something up and didnt know how to email you (her). Sorry to intrude here!
The rock concert at the MSU student union,along time ago 1970s) was opened by I believe "the MC5" with the big number of theirs "Kick out the jams MF" I was there in my army jacket and beads...I think that was just before or after getting arrested there at a protest!
That spring had a concert at the field house outside with Jefferson Airplane, Rod Stewart with faces etc.
