Kastle Kaos Drawbridge

http://www.kaslkaos.blogspot.com

Drawbridge is an illustrated journal of my life as an artist and nature nut. I use coloured pencil, collage, or whatever it takes to say what I mean.
Drop in and say 'hi'! Art is all about communication, after all.
As I live in the beautiful Oak Ridges Moraine area of Ontario, Canada, much of the subject matter features the beauty of this region although there have been major digressions into other realms of late.

It's not often in life we get second chances, and in reality we never really do. We just get "another" chance--if we're lucky. This is the bird that hit my window. I thought he would most certainly die, as he fell to the ground in a diminishing seri...

Harsh words, gentle words, careful or careless, just a few short words can have a lasting impact. A lifetime loop, some words repeat in my head, over and over again, never forgotten, cropping up again and again with the least little trigger. Just a ...

This is our Christmas Tree. It came from Canadian Tire, on sale for $11.00. That's not seen as it's still fresh and thirsty. When I was a little girl, I remember crawling under the big (they are huge when you are three) spruce tree and looking up ...

Okay, the honest answer, is that I've been working on my linocuts & my etsy store and have nothing new to post. I'm in the middle of a few projects but a gigantic snowfall set me back some. I have my priorities, and one of them included the sheer n...
