You know what I hate?

I hate when someone who has never had a problem with incredible obesity tells a wls patient to try it first the natural way!

Please clue in out there... If people are opting for wls, it is BECAUSE the natural way didn't work several times over and instead helped them to get to that weight. I am sure that when they do the math, wls people actually have spent more on 'the natural way' than their surgery over their lives.

Physiologically, people are not naturally city dwellers with gyms and grocers around every corner. Humans were once close to animals. We ate to survive and some of us are just better built to survive famine. This means we process differently.

If we ever have a world wide famine, hey, I'll loosen the ol' gastric band, but the natural way isn't gonna work when my body wants to take me the opposite direction.

WLS is a tool to counteract genetics, not unlike braces, caps, contact lenses, hair colour, make-up and cosmetic surgery. In today's world, it is the appearance that WLS promises that has an extra benefit of better health... YES better health... does your boob job or capped teeth provide that? I think not!

After a weight loss surgery one need to take care of many things like making lifestyle changes that you have to stick to for the rest of your life. If you don’t, then the entire procedure can reverse itself and the weight will come back. That is something you certainly want to avoid. Consult Dr. Nilesh Patel Lap band Corpus Christi

I'm in the process of the WLS program. I have been on Effexor XR for depression for years. I read that you can't take extended release medications after surgery so when I was at the psychiatrist (the one for the WLS program) I mentioned to him about the Effexor and he is switching me to Wellbutrin. When I was researching Wellburtin I noticed it too is an extended release. Is there any one that is taking wellburtin after WLS?

Dear Marissa,

Well I'd always susggest everyone to first to to lose weight the natural way ... thats excercising... however, if that seems to be all of work .. then you can always switch to balanced diet plans ... and if nothing else work then surgery should be considered as last resort ...

However, to get more idea about the weight loss and other health and fitness plans ... do visit http://www.212articles.com they have many doctors who are writing quite frequently for the websites and on weight loss they share quite alot of helpfull tips..

Regards,

Hi? I know a friend who have done weight loss surgery. And I have no idea what shes been too after her surgery. So that's why i have decided to search for more informations to share to her. Then I found this site that really helps me a lot. I have also learned more from the site. http://www.weight-loss-surgery-secrets.com/controversial/free_wls_report.htm It's a report done by Julianne Kennedy. This contains more information all we need to know, especially to those who have undergone weight loss surgery.
