Bush invited Ozzy Osborne at his party which is already surprising for a "Christian" but more surprisingly he also invited Hillary who was there in secrecy:

Bush said : "For political reasons, some Democrats prefer that it not be known they are working with a Republican president, so they slip in the back door - like Hilary Clinton here."

that news story is from 2002!!
    1. elitethinker
So what ? Don't care about the date, but the fact !
    2. Epicharis
      so...it's an old story...old news...no longer relevant...no longer of interest...etc. etc.
    3. elitethinker
Oh funny, so world war II is old story, doesn't matter ?

By the way, did you know it even in 2002 ? Was this ever published in US ?
    4. MadameX
And it was a joke even then. Bush's quoted remarks are from the annual correspondents' dinner, at which Hillary Clinton was (unsurprisingly) a guest--the remark about her sneaking in came in conjunction with a slide of the President with a woman whose identity was hidden by a burqa (presumably not Senator Clinton).

Edit: Elitethinker, the "speech" (which was comic) was made to a substantial portion of the U.S. press corps covering the White House. Senator Clinton (along, I'm sure, with a good many other Democrats) was seated right beside them.

The BBC article doesn't say it was a joke, where where was it say so ? And since as Bush puts it for sure, they would not like the public to know, it's also probably that they then pretend it wasn't her.
    6. Epicharis
      *headdesk* elite thinker, eh?
    7. MadameX
Actually, the article does say it. It refers to "President Bush's stand-up act" and a "gag-filled speech". I'm not sure what it is that you think "they" didn't want the public to know--this took place at a dinner for the PRESS, an annual event at which the President traditionally pokes fun at himself and other high-level members of the government as part of the entertainment.
  2. Epicharis
You haven't even read the story properly! haha! you've mistaken a joke for a fact...the Hillary Clinton quote is a joke in reference to a picture of Bush next to a woman in a burka!

    hahaha!
    1. elitethinker
woman in a burka ? or burga ? And what a dress changes ? Maybe it's my english I don't know what burka or burga means because that wouldn't change anything.

As for you you are also a joker since you straight away denied without even reading the article under the pretext it was 2002
    2. MadameX
It's not a "dress", Elitethinker-it's the traditional garb for women in certain middle-eastern cultures that covers the entire body and most of the face, such that the person could not be recognized.

I wasn't the one who posted a shocking news story without fully comprehending it! I saw it was about a Correspondents' Dinner from 2002...that was enough to dismiss it for me.
    4. elitethinker
      You don't read english ?

      "like Hillary Clinton HERE" !
Explain me the nonsense of saying HERE if she wasn't here

OK Bush is as crazy as Osborne but is still capable of forming an english sentence no ?
    5. Epicharis
do you know what a joke is, elitethinker?
    6. MadameX
Elitethinker, I think you're experiencing a cultural gap here. The correspondents' dinner is an annual event that is filled with humor. Hillary Clinton WAS there, and every member of the press (for whom the dinner is given) was well aware that she was there, in plain view...as were numerous other Democrats. The photograph and accompanying comment were among the many jokes of the evening, nearly all of which poke fun at high-level elected and appointed officials.
  3. Epicharis
And the award for Most Ironic Screen Name goes to....EliteThinker!
    1. elitethinker
The Joke is the public is not suspecting she could be here. The proof is you immediately denied without even reading the article under the fallacious argument that it was old.

And then only after reading it you pretend it's a joke because you didn't take the adjective HERE.
    2. MadameX
Elitethinker, no one had to "suspect" that she was there...everyone could SEE her. She wasn't hiding the fact that she was there, nor was there any reason that she should want to.
    3. elitethinker
Tell me your logic, because something is said humoristically it cannot be true ?!!! So this one at the white house where Dick Cheney laugh that people were so stupid as he hide he had been director of the CFR known to be full of libs ?

    4. MadameX
Elitethinker, please try to understand this. Of course someone can say something humorously and it can be true, but Hillary Clinton WAS at the dinner in question. She was there quite openly, along with many other Democrats. She did not sneak in a side door or any such thing--she was photographed by the press. The point of the evening was to entertain the press. She was sitting in the room alongside dozens of reporters, in her regular clothing, talking and laughing when the President made his comment. Why do you keep pointing out that she "might really have been there" when no one (least of all Senator Clinton) ever tried to disguise the fact that she WAS there?
  4. timethief
ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
    It's a joke.
  5. Stillthinking
This is the President's routine from the White House Correspondents dinner. It is an annual dinner held in Washington hosted by the press where they are given free reign to make fun of all politicians including the President TO THEIR FACES. In return, the President gives a speech making fun of himself, the press and Washington politics.

    It's all in fun.
  6. MadameX
Siuil, I'm wondering what you see as the benefit of the nastiness and insults. The actual point is rather getting lost in your need to point out to Elitethinker over and over again how dumb you think he is. There is obviously a language barrier and/or lack of cultural understanding going on here, and it's hard to see how name-calling is going to help clear it up.
    1. Epicharis
we already cleared it up...I'm just laughing at him because it's funny.

as for the language barrier/cultural divide...I wouldn't be laughing if he wasn't being an arse about it.
    2. MadameX
I don't think it's been cleared up if he's still confused, which is obviously the case.
    3. Epicharis
he's wrong, we explained why he was wrong, he refuses to accept this possibility because he's too proud so he's telling us that we are wrong. I find that hilarious.
    4. elitethinker
Oh yeah read above about Dick Cheney mocking the people, for sure you pretend you cannot be fooled, you're too smart huh ?
  7. Epicharis
elite thinker...do you honestly believe that you've uncovered some kind of conspiracy?

According to Cathy O'Brien, there is a link between George (father) and Hilary: her. Note: Even if one can't be certain of a particular case, project MK Ultra is real (Bill Clint apologized for it in the name of the US) and numerous victims of the project have spoken out.
