How are you dealing with this summer heat?

My car A/C is almost broken!!! I'm sweating like a pig, so I bought white T-shirts to put it below my shirt, so it can absorb moisture. I look like if I have been playing basketball all day with shirt and tie!

It's 75-78 and no humidity. I have no fans or A/C on. I would like a little less rain so things can move on with house building but as far as temp goes I can't complain. -
We haven't had any summer heat yet. Unseasonably cool and raining nearly every day.-
I was just thinking the same thing. It really hasn't been so bad heat-wise. WE do have ceiling fans in every room so when it's gotten a touch warm, they've done a fine job of cooling us off. As summers go this one's been pretty nice.

Drinking water + natural jucies is important. I am already melting since we face a variation of temp between 32C/109F and 43C/114F

YOU AND ME BOTH!! lol..i went to go get some more a/c juice (ok, i dont know how to spell freeon??) and they told me my compressor needs to be replaced so im goin to completely keep sweating out my hair and clothes in this Texas heat. THERE IS NO WAY TO DEAL WITH IT!!

In the U.S. northeast, we haven't had any heat. Summer hasn't even come close to starting yet. -
What summer heat? Today the high was only 72 degrees and its' July! I want it hotter!! We did have it hot two weeks ago. Was that our summer? Just one week?-

I love summer -
we stay in the office all day so there are aircons. we are home at night so it's not too hot. at home, I keep all the windows open and let the air in. on weekends, we go on a picnic or to the park to get fresh air. Oh btw, when it's too hot, my hubby sometimes uses ice pack. He covers it with a towel and rub it on his body and sometimes leave it on his lap. -
I love it when the weather heats up, clothes become more colourful and we can wear less during the day than we do during the colder months. I love the sunshine, I feel healthier when I can sit outside and bask in the sun's glorious rays. I love how things look when the sun glistens on them and trees, flowers, birds and animals seem so much happier. I love the summer and I love the sun. Thank you for asking! -
We are having a very,very strange summer here. No heat. As a matter of fact, right now I'm kind of cold.-

How am I coping? I'm not. Temperatures around 90 that don't drop significantly overnight plus high humidity 24/7; kiss sleep goodbye.
We're not an A/C nation yet, but I bet we will be five years time. -
Very well.. .since it's raining here in Ireland atm, -
I'm naked like 80% of the day. I wear as little clothing as allowed by the law, and I drink PLENTY of water. It's up to 110 out here in Texas, and although we have A/C, there's no getting around the fact that the car and house heat up and I mean HEAT UP when it's just sitting there, and there is about an hour of "cool down" time before it gets livable again. Hence the nakedness...-
Great attitude!! Very handy, by the way, considering the environment you are in.

Summer heat? LOL
Summer is nearly over and it's been high 50 low 60's and raining nonstop. July 4th and today are the only good decent days so far. -
How about Svalbard ? -

We have been having waves of heat followed by days of rain. It's hot again today. And humid. -
I make my daughter spray me with a water bottle and have my son fan me continuously. Just so they don't get bored, I allow them to switch every half hour.-

Being in the tropics, it's more of a yearlong heat. -
I "exercise" a lot and I hope to sweat in the heat and stay thin.-

Running in the morning in the woods- much cooler there especially in the A.M. -

I use the AC in my car even when it isn't really hot. I like feeling frosty. I also do a lot of swimming.-

Cooling off in the swimming pool. Ceiling fans in the house. I hate air conditioning but when it gets really hot, I do turn it on.-

When's the summer going to end...it's killing me. Making me a lot more pessimistic than I want to be:) -
It hasn't really been that hot this summer so far in Ohio. We had one week of the 90s but other than that it's been in the upper 70s lower 80s. When it does get in the 90s we love to head to the beach and stay in the water all day long! It's beautiful and sooo relaxing!!!-
You´re a lucky girl, I can tell!

Erm...well we had a hailstorm earlier today so I'm not struggling in the heat at all!

The air conditioning at my office is freezing, so when I go outside I welcome some heat. Actually the weather has been quite pleasant in my little corner of the world. -
It hasn't been too bad here all summer. Of course, occasionally there is a really humid day or two but for the most its been pretty great.
