You first... and you still use a pyramind scheme to earn?
    1. patrickac
i'm mainly doing affiliate marketing. i asked this question as a test question to just see who are the people who will say out how much they earn online per month. i see people saying how much they earn from adsense in another discussion. to me, how much you earn is not important. how much you're worth as a person is of a greater value. i've checked out your blog and find you genuine =)

even if you told me how much you earn per month, as my long-standing principle, i would not reveal exactly how much i earn =) i've done that in the past before and have found it to be a stumbling block for those whom i've revealed... it starts off a comparison train of thought that stifles the mind from achieving its potential. i'll not repeat the same mistake here.

pyramid? ( RealDeals.HomelySuccess.com ) think you should be referring to the npn... can't be rmtr or pwf =) well, it's definitely not a pyramid scheme my friend. you do earn commissions from your efforts, you could jolly well be earning more than me, the product's a great marketing system that makes many people i know all chirpy... saying cheap cheap cheap =) and it pays out to even those who have not been able to sell the system to anyone as long as their 5x5 matrix is full.

as an online marketer since 2002, this is a simple yet effective marketing system that's pretty cool. the pay plan is pretty unique. check it out and you'll slowly begin to see it in a different light. i've joined things like that mainly to help people fund themselves and be empowered for more things. anyway, it is an invaluable marketing system for many who need an economic solution (problem + solution = opportunity)... my motto is to tee lives... transform enrich empower

it'll take time, but i honestly have time =)

I earn around $300 - $600 dollars just off the information alone at www.homepaidwork.com

Anyone have any suggestions on how to earn a couple of thousand a month?

      How much is "alot"?

How much do you make if ok to ask.. ?
  3. PetLvr
"even if you told me how much you earn per month, as my long-standing principle, i would not reveal exactly how much i earn =) i've done that in the past before and have found it to be a stumbling block for those whom i've revealed... "

I find that statement hypocritical - asking for something you don't want to reveal yourself. It kind of makes you look more pious than the rest of us. I would come clean, or delete this discussion thread. i.m.o.
    1. RobSellen
I was just about to say the same thing.
    2. patrickac
lol ... that's your own perspective dear friend. i'm just being myself and have only spoken the truth. pious? why would i need to be pious? lol

i'm glad that nobody reveals it yet. that's just a header question =)
      now, here's the follow-up question:

would you reveal your monthly income to someone online who asks you... why?

see, as online marketers, we get that question quite frequently... to me, it's quite silly and sometimes annoying. if reading the header question annoys anyone, i apologize but must admit that it's deliberate... that's just to feed you on the possible feeling one might feel when asked such a question =)

you might not feel annoyed or anything... why so?
    3. monkeytale
So the purpose of this thread is that it has no purpose?

      sheesh....

And here I was ready to reveal I make 42 gazillion dollars a month.
    4. ThriftShopRomantic
Well, it seems to me when a person is indicating they have methods to help others make money, the amount of money made at it then becomes a part of that person's credentials. If you were indicating you had tips to help someone get published, people would want to see your publication credits. Same dealio.
  4. monkeytale
Zip, nada, zilch....my online activities (blogging) don't involve money.

I'm not ashamed how much I've made online doing what I do .. although, I am cautious of telling people who do NOT blog the amounts. They 'just don't get it' related to the amount of time that is invested and the efforts made to make that much and see a fixed amount of dollars for the effort - not a good job indeed! However, look at my earnings (don't laugh) www.hart-empire.com/2007/08/hart-empire-earnings-for-2007-july-released/ and tell me that I don't have potential to make more money exponentially as time progresses? I think I do. I've got 30 blogs that I haven't even signed up for any sponsorship alone .. but, as I'm doing all the work myself (having hard time finding writers) I don't want to extend myself TOO much, and be responsible to sponsers for the amount of content I put out and when.

I'll recommend that you use Keyword Country to help you maximise your earning potential. Here's the link where you can view the videos for a better picture: KeyWordCountry.HomelySuccess.com

I learned early in my 47 years of enjoying the benefits of Self Directed and Managed Marketing Businesses, that "making money" was never a concern.

With a well designed Business plan, a definite Major purpose, a strong Mastermind and the application of Massive Action, money can't help chasing you.

I have "Gone Bust" a few a times...only because I didn't plan well enough, but the Bounce back was quick.
I give the credit to a Book that was required Reading my Freshman Year in College, Napoleon Hill's Think & Grow Rich. It pointed me to me and I started my business quickly.....

I actually don't make much online at all at the moment, just 3 figures and mostly from affiliate sales. But started this not too long ago and am still learning and prefer to share more. Also actually have other side investments, not online, that enable me to spend more time on this adventure.

Hope to learn more from everyone here!

I don't really make money from adsense. I have 3 blogs and I've earned about $8 in the last 4 months. I joined a home business and now blog for more for fun than for money.
    1. patrickac
It's good to know that you're having fun =) Making money should be fun =)

Well, since joining the internet in 1997, I have tried literaly hundreds of methods for making money online, and so far I have only actually recieved money from 4 companies, listed here in the order that I have made the most money from highest to lowest:

#1.) CafePress : I make anywhere from $2 - $60 a month here without any promotion of my shops, and with promotion of my shops, I believe I can up that figure to about $150 - $300 per month. (A theory I am currently testing). I have been making money here since 2005.

#2.) Squidoo : I currently make anywhere from .75c - $10 a month. Each month I make a little bit more than the last month. I estimate that by Christmas I should be earning $30 - $70 per month. I have been makeing money here since 2007.

#3.) Zazzle : I currently make $20 - $60 per year here. Like CafePress, this was done without promoting my shops. I have just begun to promote my shops, so hopefully I will see a raise in my income from Zazzle. I have been making money here since 2005.

#4.) Amazon : I have made additional money by selling books through Amazon auctions, I make between $5 - $50 per book, and if I had more books I wanted to sell, I could probably live off this income alone. Problem is, I need quite a bit of overhead up front, to buy the books, so that I can resell them for a profit. I have been making money here, since 1997.

I tried eBay, but lost more on thier insanly high fees, than I was ab;le to make, so I chalked eBay up to a waste of my time. If I had items that I could sell for $500 or more per item, I might (might) be able to make an income here.

I've tried nearly 500 differant MLM, pyramid, secret shopper, take survies, play games, and affiliate programs... so far not a single one of them has paid me a single penny.

I'm the lil geek girl no one ever reads about, cuz I kinda keep to myself mostly. I have no corporate backers, but I do run an independent travel site for California that gets 10k visitors per day/1 million page views per month. Over the past decade I've built up my quality content to over 3000 pages on California & Baja destinations --- AND I am just starting to make some serious cash. If it pays my mortgage, then it's serious to me.

Here is a quick list of MOST my revenue sources, in no particular order:
TribalFusion, Google Ads, Amazon, ReserveAmerica, WorldRes, Inntopia, TravelHero, CJ.com, Viator, HostelWorld, Altrec...

Total Escape, the outdoor recreation/travel is seasonal, altho California has the best weather for traveling year round, my incomes fluctuates:

On a good month (summertime) $2000-4000/mo
On a slow month (winter) $1500-3000/mo

NO MLM here baby!!! A real self made woman (for all that it's worth)

Great! It just shows that there's really a lot of money to be made online =)

Recently, I've revisited an awesome online income source of Domain Profiteering... Totally blew me away! In fact, I am always looking out for businesses people can easily do. When I took a closer look at this... Lo & Behold! This IS something that I think those who have not been able to make a dime could easily profit from! Awesome!

Ok, to end off, I'll leave the link for anyone to just check it out: DomainProfiteer.HomelySuccess.com

      Cheers!

From what I know, many people feel the need to fake it till they make it. I personally know a few such persons and I find myself keeping a distance from such people.
  31. momoftwingirls
Not nearly enough. I would love to make more with PPP, but I have no Google PR, yet and my Alexa I think is too high. Someone in here said the lower the score, the better for Alexa.

Now, I need a Google Ranking and hopefully my PR will increase where I can get better bids from advertisers.
    1. patrickac
I literally make a living online full-time since 2002 without the need to bother about PRs and SEO stuff. It's all about building relationships or they call it "list building" the smart way.

Anyway, to me, blogging seems to be a labour-intensive way to make money online... Maybe I'm not the blogger type of person... LOL! I'm missing in the blogging scene most of the time =)
  32. alanchansg
I have made about over $1k for a month period, check out my post on the details

Hey friends, you should have heard of Google Assassin by now. I've got it and accessed it and found it to be exactly what it's supposed to be and more! Man! Making $500 per day via affiliate marketing is truly no big deal when you use what Chris uses!

Think sales will end Friday evening... Have a look and decide for yourself if you're going to let this pass you by.

    G-Assassin.HomelySuccess.com

You want to know my advice? Get it if you're serious about making money online because it has dramatically changed the whole affiliate marketing and online marketing scene. You won't know what hit you if you don't get in the know. It's important enough for me to make this post =)
  34. exinco
i'm start 'serious' blogging in jan 07. so far so good. i know that most success marketer don't reveal their exact revenue. they just reveal less than what they actual got. this just an one of strategy to attract visitor to his/him blog, and make visitor confident on what he do can make money
    1. patrickac
Revealing exactly how much you earn is not wise because some people will expect you to help them achieve the same amount and many will be unnecessarily be discouraged if they can't achieve the mark. Not everyone will react in a reasonable or rational way when it comes to money matters. However, generally, we can easily make a good estimate what a person is earning by inspecting what businesses he/she is involved in.
  35. mdsanta
your suppose to make money? how come I keep getting bills?
