Should Truck Balls Be Banned?

Nah i think it sucks when my 4 year old niece asks what those are hanging off the back of some truck.. Freaking ban them. People should not have to be exposed to that type of in your face indecency.. And trust me im pretty open but I have actually always found them as a sign on open retardation -

This was the same state that tried to ban baggy pants 2 years ago... I silently cheered that one...but realize it wasn't a realistic expectation...

ROFL your kidding me? Here in Florida they arrest people with baggy pants at the shopping malls.. im sure if you do a google search for wellington baggy pants mall. you will come up with the story they sent a helicopter and 11 police cars to arrest one 20 year old man

I couldn't care less about baggy pants. I haven't seen this newest thing, but I don't drive much these days. Sounds pretty offensive though. Rather than show some fancy boxers, you've got the boxers off and . . .

I think people have every right to be as stupid as they want. Banning the truck balls isn't going to touch the real problem, which is that people have lost the sense of what's appropriate and what isn't. -

I am offended by them because they aren't funny, like maybe the first time I saw them I got a chuckle but I have seen them so much at this point it kills the joke.

That's more or less how I handled the language some people feel is appropriate in front of young children on the bus. I would give them an angry look, maybe move, but if I had to explain to my then young son, the lesson was pretty clear.

I have yet to ever critique or complain about you or your site. please have the decency to do the same. There's no reason to run around bragging about your site and then suggesting others should be banned.

What an odd thing to say when you publish your site inviting people to come to your site. Firstly - if I ever cticique'd your site, everyone would know that it is a one time thing - no grudges, everybody gets a second chance and the next day is a new day. Since I don't know what the heck you were talking about, I can only assume you meant my comment firstly on that' thread you started awhile back www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/who-else-operates-a-humor-and-funny-pictu... when I caught you posting pictures found on my blog from years ago, with no attribution or recognition to anybody - and had no inkling whether or not said pictures were taken from my blog or not. Meanwhile - I said my peace, and I thought you learned your lesson and are now becoming a better blogger by citing your sources and not stealing copywritten works.
Seondly - If you think that me mentioning above that it is the blogosphere that people have unnecessary poppups happen when I visit your blog I stand 100% behind that because IT IS WRONG. I choose to visit you - that's my choice, and I did that. I did not choose to be forced to have 2 popups immediately come and - for all I know - immediately install spyware or other virus programs on my computer without my knowledge. YES I HOPE IT SHAMES YOU TO RECOGNIZE THIS ERROR and you remove the code and your site grows better and gains more respect in the community of your peers - and us other bloggers..
And You know what? IT doesn't matter - tomorrow I'll still help you and communicate with you and be friends with you and participate in threads with you because tomorrow is a new day.

Petlvr... I have never taken any picture from your blog and it's completely silly to aquire images from the public domain and then blame others who have the same content from the public domain.
Most of the pictures on your blog are rehashed images that have been floating around the internet for years... and I have NEVER been to your "old" site and do not even know what your old site is.
There are literally THOUSANDS of humor sites on the net with funny pictures you big dope... Get over yourself...
Our sites are NOT original....and neither is the material on them.
Do you not get that? Do you not realize most everyone here has seen most of our material before at one time or another?
I know you want to take credit for it all...but it doesn't belong to you...
I provided you a list of example sites ....all of which use the same friggen material.
Almost everyone here has at some time or another gotten most of images we use from emails that friends have sent them.... or forwarded to them... how on earth do you get off claiming that they are yours?
secondly, the images I use come from my own website which has existed long before blogs even existed.
To claim something is yours just because you captured it off of an email somewhere or someone else's website is ludicrous.
I've asked you twice now to point out which images you think are yours, and I've yet to ever hear a reply.
Secondly.....
Shaming someone for a pop up.... or suggesting they be banned because they have one is way over the top.
The site that loads is not advertising...it is not spam... it is not spyware or any of the crap mentioned.
Please discontinue associating with me - as I've never asked for your help, and don't require it.

3) re: Your above crap - about the images, as I said - end of the day it didn't matter in the scheme of things and never bothered me and it looked like you were being more responsible.
4) I guess your 5 comments out of 105 comments is a far better ratio against harassing me than my 2 comments out of 1535 comments.

I think law makers and politicians ought to worry about helping the economy, creating more jobs, keeping repeat offender criminals for dangerous crimes behind bars, and work on the education system.
Then they can worry about what kind of decoration a person has on their car.
Of course, I did notice the glaring omission of the trucker babe silhouette from the bill - what, balls can be banned, but not babes? There are a lot of uncomfortable things in this world that we have to explain to our children. If you really don't like a subject, or feel it's improper, there is a way to handle it....I do it with my kid if I just don't wanna talk about it...."When you're older" end of discussion.
The government does not need to legislate this type of thing simply to make things more comfy for parents. The government doesn't need to legislate decency at all in my opinion.... -

It's not freedom of expression, it's human genitalia. The Virginia Delegation has a right to restrict things, within reason, they feel are inappropriate for the general population.
