Some common link directory related scams

If you visit webmaster forums at all, you'd be quickly made aware of link directories with Page Rank 5 asking for submissions since they don't have enough entries. You may want to read the article below. Also, if you're frustrated with your search engine traffic and wanted to get a boost by buying links you may want to read this.

I'm actually aware of these scams and I am frequently hard pressed not to say something negative when a member posts a thread suggesting that others use a free service that registers their blogs in multiple directories for them.
