I discuss wholeness in my blog appropriately named Wholeness Blog www.wholenessblog.com
One simple but very hard question to answer is what is wholeness?
I'd like to know what you think:
What is the definition of Wholeness?
How is wholeness different from wellness and from enlightenment?
Is seeking wholeness a solely spiritual quest?

What do you think?

Don't confuse wholeness with perfection. My functional definition of wholeness is simply "giving more than you take."

A person who is emotionally broken tends to see others only for the support they can provide. The greater the brokenness, the less a person contributes to the relationship and the more they demand. Emotional wholeness is seen in what you can contribute to others. The spiritually whole consider others more important than themselves.

Your answer is very good, thank you. Are you proposing that wholeness needs to be split into types of dimensions, so we'd have spiritual wholeness, emotional wholeness ?

In Buddhism, wholeness might be living according to the Noble Eightfold Path.

Wholeness is fulfillment, it is contentedness, it is realizing that your potential. Knowing what is what can be, and figuring your own path between the two. Not having a chip on your shoulder, it is the greatest good. In my opinion it is being at a place in your life where you are comfortable enough in your own belief system, place in life, etc that there is no need to keep asking questions or becoming combative over the differences between ones own self and others.

Just my opinion though. I have heard it said that grasping the concept of wholeness is impossible
