Why Comment On Other Blogs Can Increase Your Traffic?

Many Blogger say that Leaving a comment on other blog is one way to promote blogs and get more visitor. Do you agree with this statement? If you ask this question to me, of course my answer is "yes". In my opinion, commenting on other blogs is a very good thing to get readers no matter the blog is a dofollow or nofollow.

So what is my reason? If you are still not convinced about this,I will tell you some top reasons why you should keep commenting on other blogs to increase your blog traffic:
The blog owner and his readers will start knowing or recognising your blogs when you leave a comment on other blog with your identity.
You will get lots of traffic starting from the owner of the blog where you commented to his visitors.

You can build a good relationship with other blogger and if your blog have a good content, they will consider to subscribe your blog posts. Once they subscribe to your blog posts, you will have a regular visitor to your blog.
If your comment is unique and very interesting, the visitors of the blogs who read your comment will be interesting with you and will visiting your blog.

Many blogs let you leave a link of your website while writing comments for the blog. So if you leave a link to your blog while commenting, the chances you will receive traffic from their blog is more bigger.

It's very labor intensive and, unless you're commenting for "influence", the actual traffic yielded is very low. Not enough to justify the effort unless you're just paying people to post comments for you to high traffic blogs.

As for SEO benefits, this only makes sense if you hit very liberal (TOS-wise not necessarily politically) blogs that are in your niche and are DO FOLLOW (no no follow tag)

I totally agree. If you post a comment on a do-follow blog you will automatically have a backlink...and you will quite possibly get the blogger to comment on your site as well.

It is just my opinion.I'm just a newbie tried to tell what I'm currently know.At least I'm not young and show off.Be careful when using the "!" symbol.

Agree with you ikogsakanding, unique comments surely very helpful.It can produce loyal readers and they will visiting your blog often.

I fully agree with your idea as discussed above. You have opned up a stimulating discussion which is helfpul to bloggers, especially to new bloggers. Keep up the discussion going to benefit other readers/bloggers.

IMO the whole concept of becoming a comment whore on do-follow blog just to get backlinks is unethical. I moderate all comments and I delete all opportunistic comments. IMO if you do not have a valuable comment that contains information that's new to the discussion then don't post it.
