I finally got up the nerve to list my age in my blog profile. That is a big deal because I'm older than my husband. That is a big deal because I've let that fact dictate who I present myself to be since we've been together. That's a big deal because the age difference doesn't matter to him. That is a big deal because he actually wants me to stop coloring my hair. That is a big deal because I'm not ready to go gray yet. That is a big deal because my mother was gray in her 40s and she looked stupendous. That's a big deal because I inherited great genes from her. That's a big deal because from my father I inherited alcoholic genes. That is a big deal because I've been sober for 24 years. That's a big deal because if I hadn't quit drinking I probably wouldn't be alive. That is a big deal because if I wasn't alive my blog wouldn't exist. That's a big deal because you are here.
