I write in a genre which can best be described as Mainstream Historical Fiction with Romantic Elements. I am someone who lives inside their head most of the time, and being fascinated with the 17th Century, a story about the Monmouth Rebellion rattled around for a while demanding attention.
When I summoned the courage to submit my work to a Critique Group, I discoveerd how to turn that story into a novel. I now have two novels on release and am working on more in a different genre,mainly to see if I can.
