A freelance writer with an eternal wanderlust. Have passport; will travel. As a pre-journalism major at University of Georgia; I had my own byline at the age 18 with the local newspaper, but decided that journalism was not for me. I moved to New York City on a whim in 2001 and freelanced as a creative marketer working with a major Soho art gallery, renowned artist, and event management companies. It was during this time that I developed a deep love of fashion as well as Eco-living lifestyle through my yoga practice. My life decidedly took a turn in 2007 when I met EC who would change my life forever by giving me a beautiful daughter, Layla Stacy-Marie {despite her very American name; she is an Asian mini-me with even my hands and toes…. genetics; go figure} . We moved to Scranton, PA and then to South Florida; where I currently reside in a sleepy village by the ocean.
I started writing again with the new publishing platform called Wordpress. I must say that I am hooked. I am the Founder & Editor of Jolly Green Girl and Contributing Writer for Green Options. When not writing; I try to keep up with Layla & Abby the wonder dog, practice yoga, and dream of becoming the next Anthony Bourdain.
