I am a Bronx-born author and educator, an unabashed liberal who boasts of having never voted for a conservative candidate, although among my heroes are Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Wendell Wilkie. I admire those who not only believe in and support our Constitution, but also are committed to social justice in society.
 
In the spring of 2007, I completed my 50th year as an educator. During that time I taught over 14,000 students in college teacher education programs for 40 years, and for ten years taught in high schools literally across America, from New York to California. One of my proudest achievements throughout this time period was the creation of the Veterans Accelerated Urban Learning for Teachers (VAULT) program for returning Vietnam War veterans. The acceptance into the program consisted of answering, "yes" to the question of: "Would you like to go to college?"

Since my retirement I have decided to abandon my education writing and focus on satirical, political books due to my concern about the deceit and hypocrisy that is rampant on the American political scene. I agree with Franklin Roosevelt that the only thing one has to fear is fear itself, although cynical politicians today attempt to frighten Americans.I have a strong commitment to members of the military and wants them returned home as soon as possible. I also have tremendous faith in the intelligence and social conscience of the American people and know they never will surrender to the forces of fear.
