Mary Lynn Archibald moved to Sonoma County in 1970 from the Bay Area with her two children who are now grown. Before her first marriage, she lived and worked in San Francisco. She now makes her home in the wine country near Healdsburg, with her husband and partner, Carl, and dog of questionable parentage, Fizzbo.
She has won three awards for her most recent memoir, Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows and No Clue, from the 2008 Indie Book Awards and USA Best Books 2008.
Mary Lynn learned gardening at her mother’s knee, and now oversees a 5-acre garden in which she loves to read (if only there were time).
